One consignment delivery is offered complementary for registries to most Hong Kong locations.*
You will be contacted by Double Happiness shortly after the close of your gift list to confirm delivery details. We aim to deliver all registries in a single consignment roughly 4 weeks after the date of your event, or 2 weeks after the registry has been closed. Please note that we make every effort to have your gift items ready during this time frame, but in certain instances there may be delays due to import/ordering times of certain gifts, or stocking situations from our Merchants which are beyond our control.
Deliveries will be arranged during work hours Monday- Friday, or on Saturday mornings. No deliveries on Sundays or public holidays. No deliveries will take place in the event of a typhoon, or rain storm warning in effect, and deliveries will be rescheduled in such instances. There must be someone available to receive and sign for a delivery.
*Complementary delivery offered to home or office addresses on Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and some areas of the New Territories. Other areas will incur a delivery charge of $250 per delivery. No delivery service to portions of the New Territories or Outlying Islands, or to P.O. Boxes.
At Double Happiness, it is important to us that you are satisfied with your registry gifts. Once a gift is bought from your registry, we will order and ready the item for the consignment delivery. You may however, make changes to your registry prior to the close of your gift list (14 days after your event date) without penalty, unless the item was bespoke or custom ordered on your behalf.*
We recommend if you are unsure about confirming a particular gift, that you mark it as a HOLD gift until you make a final decision. We recommend you to review your final gift list just prior to closing, to be 100% certain that all items that have been ordered are gifts that you would like prior to preparation for delivery.
Conditions of exchange:
- Once the gift has been delivered, items may be exchanged* within 7 days. Please note these items must be unused and in original packaging, and unaltered in any way. All exchanges are on a request basis and subjected to individual merchant's policy on exchange and return.
- Please send an email notification to us to submit your request on exchange.
- For successful exchange, he item must be returned to us, at your cost, within 7 days from the date of exchange authorization. If posting, we recommend that you send via insured registered post, with proper protective packaging to ensure that we receive the item, and in good order. Products lost in transit cannot be exchanged.
Provided the conditions of exchange have been successfully met, we will credit your registry the original value of the gift, less a 15% restocking fee, which you may use towards the purchase of any in-stock product, gift certificates and experience gifts listed on our website. This credit may not be redeemed for cash.
* Bespoke or custom ordered items, and select items from certain merchants may not be returned or exchanged once confirmed.
Faulty or Damaged Items
We take great care to ensure that the goods you receive are in perfect condition and are in good working order. However, if unfortunately the goods you receive are damaged or faulty, or we have delivered the incorrect goods or quantity to you, please notify us by email immediately upon receipt of any damaged or defective merchandise describing the fault /damage or error. We will advise you on how to return them to us. You will be responsible for the goods until they are received by us. We will replace the item, if available, or offer credit to your registry for the original value of the item.
